Course Description

Designing becomes more effective with practice. Deepen your applied understanding of design frameworks, tools and principles from Cultural Emergence & Permaculture. Build momentum and activate a design for something in your life that you are passionate about. Connect with and unleash your inner designer.

Already involved with Permaculture or Cultural Emergence and want to experience an Advanced Design Course? This transformative learning adventure is for you. Designed to boost anyone’s design practice, the course is also a golden key for anyone practicing post-PDC permaculture, doing a Diploma or teaching any subject. 

This uniquely creative design weekend is the first ever UK teaching appearance of Visionary Permaculture facilitator Delvin Solkinson from Canada collaborating with Looby Macnamara.

Dates

21-23 July 2023

Friday, July 21 

There is the option to arrive on Friday in the afternoon from 3pm for dinner and a social evening, hopefully outside under the stars by the fire.

Saturday, July 22 

Saturday will have classes from 10 am - 7 pm followed by dinner and evening social.

Sunday, July 23

Sunday will be from 10 am and will end at 3 pm. (with an option to stay and socialise until 5pm)

 

Facilitators & Venue

Looby Macnamara is co-developer of the Cultural Emergence toolkit with Jon Young. She is an experienced permaculture teacher, author and designer. She is author of 3 books People and Permaculture and 7 Ways to Think Differently. People and Permaculture is the first book to directly translate the principles and design methods of permaculture from land to people. Looby enjoys using creative teaching methods to create a fun and collaborative learning environment.
