This Design Adventure is a way to begin your design journey or become more fluid, more creative, more imaginative, more visionary. You will learn to use the Design Web and discover your inner designer.

Fees
This is a chance to invest in your ongoing development and life path.
- Concessions £395 (earlybird - £350) (means-tested benefits, students limited to 4 places)
- Low waged £495 (earlybird - £450) (<£15K/year)
- Waged £595 (earlybird - £550)
Costs include all tuition, food and camping.

Coronavirus update
With regards the coronavirus, we don't know what the situation will be by the time our courses take place and we aim to let you know in plenty of time if things are going to change. If we have to cancel we will offer the option of a full refund. If you have to drop out and the course is still going ahead, we will refund minus an admin fee. Alternatively you can transfer your fees already paid to a future course, without an admin fee.
We will be fully catered for by one of our wonderful cooks who lovingly prepare wholesome vegetarian food. They can cater for vegan and gluten free diets as well. Much of the produce comes direct from our gardens onto our plates. (some people say it's worth coming on our courses just for the food!)
This course is camping. We have extra tents and bedding available for people to borrow if needed.

Looby Macnamara is co-developer of the Cultural Emergence toolkit with Jon Young. She is an experienced permaculture teacher, author and designer. She is author of 3 books People and Permaculture and 7 Ways to Think Differently.
People and Permaculture is the first book to directly translate the principles and design methods of permaculture from land to people. Looby enjoys using creative teaching methods to create a fun and collaborative learning environment.The Venue
The land and all of the beings here provide an ideal environment for connecting deeply with the more than human world. We will be blessed with spending summer days in the marquee in the orchard, and evenings around the campfire with stories, song and music accompanied by owl hoots. Nature is said to be the best teacher, and at Applewood we will be immersed in the more than human world, allowing for the learning to become a truly embodied experience.
